As well as a good selection of links to newspaper and periodical sites, online news, media and film interest sites and UK law and politics resources, these pages include a good basic guide to writing a web page with links to most of the major basic resources, a wide selection of Internet Search engines and (now available) a guide for newcomers (in the UK using PCs) to get connected to the Internet. These pages have a UK bias. There's also a form for you to Feedback your Comments so please let me have your comments on these pages. Starting Point aims, as its name implies, to be a starting point for web browsing. It includes at MetaSearch links to search on WebCrawler, Lycos, Yahoo, InfoSeek, CUI W3 Catalog, URL Search and Netfind Gateway (People). Some of these and more are on my Internet Search Engines page [p7].
